Torque and Hand Feel - The Real Selection Criteria
Torque matters when the screw needs to stay tight under vibration. If the screw backs out on its own, the grip area was undersized for the application. Wing screws: up to about 10 N·m with finger tightening. T-handles: up to about 20 N·m with two-handed operation.
