A valve mainly consists of ten parts, including: valve body, valve cover, valve core, packing, bolts, nuts, gaskets, handle, bearings, and actuator. These parts work together to ensure the valve can precisely control the flow of fluid.

As a crucial device for controlling fluid flow, the valve's structure comprises several key components. These components and their functions will be described in detail below.

1.Valve Body and Valve Cover
The valve body is the basic structure of the valve, supporting and stabilizing other components. It is typically designed to withstand the pressure and temperature of the fluid, ensuring stable operation in various working environments. The valve cover, located on top of the valve body, primarily seals and secures the internal packing or valve core, preventing fluid leakage.

2.Valve Core and Packing
The valve core is the core control element of the valve, responsible for adjusting the flow direction, pressure, and flow rate of the fluid. Its shape and material vary depending on the type and application of the valve. The packing is placed between the valve core and the valve cover, providing a seal to reduce or prevent fluid leakage. The material and structure of the packing must also be selected based on the properties of the fluid and the working environment.

3.Connecting Components: Bolts, Nuts, and Washers
Bolts, nuts, and washers are key components connecting the valve body and valve cover. Bolts pass through holes in the valve body and valve cover and are tightened with nuts, thus securing the two together. Washers are placed between the bolts and nuts, primarily to protect the valve body and valve cover from damage caused by friction. These connecting components need to withstand fluid pressure and temperature; therefore, their materials and strength must be rigorously selected and calculated.

4.Operating and Control Components: Handle, Bearings, and Drive Unit
The handle is mounted on the outside of the valve, facilitating operator operation. Its design must be ergonomic, ensuring easy and reliable operation. Bearings are located between the valve core and valve body, providing support for the valve core and reducing frictional resistance during movement, making valve opening and closing smoother. The drive unit is the key component controlling the movement of the valve core, enabling precise control of valve opening and closing. The drive unit can be manual, electric, or pneumatic, selected according to actual needs.
